The Snowmobile Recreation Council carries out studies and makes recommendations to the Legislature, Governor, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation on all matters related to the snowmobiling program at DNR or otherwise affecting snowmobiles and snowmobiling in Wisconsin, and makes recommendations to the department of natural resources with regard to funding grant applications.
The Council will hold a brief Zoom meeting to review cost increase requests to existing grant projects. The Zoom meeting link, agenda, and other meeting materials are available on the Snowmobile Recreation Council web page.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will hold a public hearing on a permanent rule to revise ch. NR 162, relating to the Clean Water Fund Program.
Revisions to ch. NR 162, Wis. Adm. Code, relating to the Clean Water Fund Program, bring the code in line with statutory changes that occurred after the current version became effective, clarify eligibility criteria, streamline processes, revise the scoring system, and update implementation issues since the rule was last revised. No new significant changes to the Clean Water Fund Program result from the rule revisions.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host the PFAS External Advisory Group on Friday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Items on the agenda include an overview of DNR’s role in approving or certifying products and perspectives from External Advisory Group members about support communities need after determining they are PFAS-impacted.
The public is invited to attend and may provide questions and comments at the meeting. Questions may also be submitted in advance to DNRPFASInquiries@wisconsin.gov.
