Off-Road Vehicle Advisory Council Meeting

The Off-Road Vehicle Council provides advice and makes recommendations to the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Transportation, the Governor, and the legislature on all matters relating to all-terrain vehicle trails and all-terrain vehicle routes, including matters relating to activities conducted on all-terrain vehicle trails and all-terrain vehicle routes by all-terrain vehicle users and utility terrain vehicle users, and makes recommendations to the department of natural resources with regard to requests for funding.
The main focus of this meeting is to review grant cost increase requests and emergency storm damage requests. The public will be invited to join the meeting via Zoom. The Zoom meeting link, agenda, and other meeting materials are available on the ORV Council webpage.

The State Trails Council (STC) provides advice and consultation to the Department of Natural Resources on the planning, acquisition, development and management of trails in Wisconsin. The council represents trail users in Wisconsin, which includes more than half of the state's residents. The council is also responsible for providing counsel in administering Federal Recreational Trails Program funds.
A draft agenda will be posted to the STC website prior to the meeting. A portion of the agenda near the end of the meeting will allow for in-person public comments.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host its first meeting of the Remediation and Redevelopment External Advisory Group from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 15, 2022.
The DNR’s Remediation and Redevelopment Program oversees the investigation and cleanup of environmental contamination and the redevelopment of contaminated properties. The DNR has a business need to receive constructive and practical input from, and provide information to, interested parties on a wide variety of regulatory and policy issues.
The Remediation and Redevelopment External Advisory Group was formed to address a broad range of issues encompassing both technical and policy topics related to encouraging the investigation, cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated sites.
