This is public notice of an Air Pollution Control Permit Application for Superior Refining Company LLC.
Superior Refining Company LLC, located at 2407 Stinson Ave, Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, FID 816009590, submitted to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) a permit application, including plans and specifications for installation of new trays in the #2 DUF Stripper Tower (process P27) and modification of the maximum allowable heat input that was previously permitted for the Hot Oil Heater (process P36A).
The following permit actions and numbers are being noticed:

This meeting of the PFAS Technical Group will include a presentation from Minnesota regarding their closed landfill study and ongoing work with PFAS and landfills. The EPA will also join to discuss their recently released draft 1633 laboratory method. The PFAS Technical Group is a working group designed as a forum to present and discuss information related to perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Wisconsin, with an emphasis on presentations from entities outside of DNR. This group does not have an appointed membership; any interested party may attend.
The public is invited to participate and may ask questions or provide comments at this meeting. Questions may also be submitted in advance to DNRPFASInquiries@wisconsin.gov. Please join the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for a webinar on the NE Lakeshore Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) project.
Attendees will receive an overview of the results of the analysis on pollutant loadings, loading capacity and draft allocations for the NE Lakeshore TMDL.
The webinar will also focus on methods employed, results of inland lake modeling and how to interpret the resulting draft allocations for both point and nonpoint sources and the potential reductions needed to attain them.

The Off-Road Vehicle Council provides advice and makes recommendations to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Transportation, the governor and the legislature on all matters relating to all-terrain vehicle trails and all-terrain vehicle routes.
This includes matters relating to activities conducted on all-terrain vehicle trails and all-terrain vehicle routes by all-terrain vehicle users and utility terrain vehicle users, and makes recommendations to the department of natural resources with regard to requests for funding.
The Off-Road Vehicle Council will meet to review and discuss the DNR’s ATV and UTV Trail Guidelines, which is currently listed for public comment. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has formed a committee made up of stakeholder organizations, tribal partners and other governmental organizations to conduct the second of three five-year reviews of the state’s 15-year chronic wasting disease (CWD) response plan.
Over the course of upcoming meetings, the committee will develop and provide input on the plan’s implementation and actions to consider as it completes this second five-year review. A panel of technical experts will attend meetings to support the committee’s work. All meetings will be open to the public, and recordings will be posted to the DNR website.
