This is a public hearing on a proposed rule, Board Order AM-05-22, relating to revisions to chs. NR 400, 419, 439, 462, and 484, to simplify, reduce and make more efficient reporting, recordkeeping, testing, inspection and determination of compliance requirements for sources of air contaminants.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged if you plan to provide spoken comments during the hearing. To pre-register, please save and complete the fillable appearance slip and send it to Olivia.Salmon@wisconsin.gov. You may also send written comments on the rule to DNRAdministrativeRulesComments@wisconsin.gov by 11:59 p.m. on April 25, 2024. The DNR and the Rule Advisory Committee will discuss rule changes relating to soil standards under the Scope Statement for Board Order RR-15-23, which proposes developing Wisconsin administrative rules that affect chapters NR 700, 720 and 722 related to definitions, land use classifications, procedures for identifying environmental standards for soil and soil cleanup standards used to investigate and remediate environmental contamination.
