Off-Road Vehicle Advisory Council Meeting

The Off-Road Vehicle Council provides advice and makes recommendations to the department of natural resources, the department of transportation, the governor and the legislature on all matters relating to all-terrain vehicle trails and all-terrain vehicle routes. This includes matters relating to activities conducted on all-terrain vehicle trails and all-terrain vehicle routes by all-terrain vehicle users and utility terrain vehicle users. The Council also makes recommendations to the DNR with regard to requests for funding.
The main focus of this meeting is to review grant applications and discuss other business. The meeting agenda is available on the DNR's ORV Council webpage.

Public Hearing for Proposed Piers on Webb Lake

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is reviewing a permit application to place piers in Webb Lake. The project is located in the SW of SE of Section 16, Township 41N, Range 14W in Town of Webb Lake, Burnett County.
The Webb Lake Campground Dock Project’s goal is to gain safe and stable marine docking for the community. Currently there are 6 roll in docks that are very old, unsafe, unstable and in need of extensive repair. The 6 docks are all along the main shoreline and have been there for over 20 years. There are currently 32 mooring slips available and this has been the case for over the last 20+ years as well. This project plan is to replace all existing docks with new floating docks.
The hearing will be a public informational hearing where members of the public can learn more about the proposed activity and submit written or oral comments about the waterway and project.
