Hunting is a long-established tradition woven into the fabric of Wisconsin’s culture. As hunters new and old make their way into the woods this November, excitement levels are high as hunters prepare for the nine-day gun deer hunting season in Wisconsin beginning Nov. 21, 2020.
With deer season underway, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is urging hunters to keep COVID-19 safety measures in mind and use the online reporting system to report their deer.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is holding online listening sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 18 to seek public input on PFAS contamination in Marinette, Peshtigo and surrounding communities. The meeting is the 11th in a series of 13 meetings the DNR will host for area residents.
