Apply for an Incidental Take Permit/Authorization (ITP/A)
To apply for an ITP/A please submit the information below. Please note that an Endangered Resources (ER) Review is required prior to applying for an ITP/A.

What you need to apply
To apply for an Incidental Take Permit/Authorization, please submit the following:
- Incidental Take Permit/Authorization Application [PDF].
- A conservation plan as described in the ITP or ITA application. View and download a sample conservation plan [PDF].
- Implementing agreement (ITP only). This includes the names and specific obligations and responsibilities of all parties involved in the taking.
If applying for an Incidental Take Permit, you will be invoiced for the $100 application fee after application materials are submitted.
Once the application has been approved, a 30-day public notice is required before the Incidental Take Permit/Authorization can be issued.
