PFAS Lab Analysis in Wisconsin

As of Oct. 15, 2024, the DNR expects regulated entities, unless otherwise directed by the DNR, to use EPA method 1633 for all non-drinking water matrices.

As of Feb. 1, 2025, the DNR requires regulated entities, unless otherwise directed by the DNR, to use EPA method 1633 for all non-drinking water matrices.

If the EPA, NR 219 or NR 809 approves other methods, they will also be accepted.

The DNR provides state certification of laboratories for PFAS analysis.
