Stevens Point Resident Named Recipient Of The 2021 DNR Ethical Hunter Award

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is pleased to announce that Mark Moersch Jr., 29, of Stevens Point, received the 2021 DNR Ethical Hunter Award. Moersch was selected for helping a fellow hunter track a wounded deer after dark and, on a separate occasion, reported a potentially lethal bait pile. This is the 25th year of the award.

DNR Seeking Public Comment For Environmental Review Of City Of Sturgeon Bay Safe Drinking Water Loan Program Project

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the city of Sturgeon Bay is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to improve its public drinking water system. The project includes the replacement of lead service lines throughout the city of Sturgeon Bay.
