The Governor's Council on Forestry will be meeting to discuss: Build Back Better Coalition, Open Forum for Council Members, County Forest Update, State Budget Update, Urban & Rural Forest Inventory Analysts & Urban Heat Island Project, Urban Forestry Economic Study, Legislative Updates, and State Forester Updates.
The council will also be meeting to discuss mass timber, tour the Ascent mass timber building, and tour the Forest Exploration Center. The agenda and any supporting documents can be found on the council's website: https://councilonforestry.wi.gov/Pages/home.aspx.
The meeting will take place at the Milwaukee DNR Service Center, 1027 W. St. Paul Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
