This is a joint public hearing on permanent rules WA-11-21, WA-12-21 and WA-14-21. WA-11-21 affects chs. NR 660-679 and is related to incorporating federal hazardous waste regulations promulgated since the previous authorization of the Wisconsin hazardous waste program, relating to updated test methods and affecting small business. WA-12-21 affects chs. NR 600-679 and is related to modifying and expanding universal waste management regulations and affecting small business. WA-14-21 affects chs. NR 660-679 and is related to technical corrections of state hazardous waste regulations and affecting small business.
The public has the opportunity to testify at the hearing. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged if you plan to provide spoken comments during the hearing. Comments on the proposed rules must be received on or before May 15, 2024.
