Forestry Aerial Photography Program
The Division of Forestry has been using aerial photography in forest management since the 1930s. In the 1990s, the division's special needs in photography acquisition required that it begin its own aerial photography program.
Since the start, the aerial photography program has adapted to technology to best meet the needs of its staff. In general, our projects are flown to provide high quality 1:15,840 infrared 9-by-9 prints for use in the field. Over time, we have also added a digital county mosaic product.
Access prints from Division of Forestry projects (statewide) and orthorectified digital county mosaics (where available).
