WPDES permit application materials, instructions, reporting & compliance documents
View required application materials if you are a proposed Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) applying for the first time for a WPDES permit or you are an existing CAFO applying for a renewal of your WPDES permit.
Preliminary and final applications applications must be submitted online through the DNR’s Water ePermitting System. The ePermitting System includes all required forms.

Submittal information
At least 12 months before your operation becomes a CAFO, submit your preliminary application to the DNR through the ePermitting System.
No later than 6 months after the DNR determines your preliminary application complete, submit your final application to the DNR through the ePermitting System.
