Meet at the park office for a guided hike with a local expert and the naturalist looking for some of the common mushrooms that may be found in the park while also learning about the treasures that we find!
Join Volunteer Naturalist, Sarah Chisholm, to learn about Wisconsin native butterflies, identify the food they eat and search for and identify caterpillars and eggs.
Join the naturalist on a stroll of Echo Rock Trail and Ishnala Trail where you will learn about the geology of the area, witness the overlooked beauty and hear about the history of those who lived in the park before it was a park.
Grab a Wisconsin Explorer Book and head into the woods in search of wildlife on this 1-mile walk. Magnifiers and bug boxes will help us in our search.
