Join the naturalist on a stroll of Echo Rock Trail and Ishnala Trail where you will learn about the geology of the area, witness the overlooked beauty and hear about the history of those who lived in the park before it was a park.
After a brief discussion, everyone will move to 1 of 5 different stations with different activities at each station focusing on wildflowers, prairies and pollinators.
Join fossil finder Arnold Sanford and the naturalist in the Ice Age Interpretive Center to learn about the park’s real mammoth fossils and see the naturalist preserve them.
Meet the naturalist down at the amphitheater for a bonfire to learn about some fire safety and hear some campfire stories around the fire. S'mores will be included!
