Learn to Hunt Pheasants - Pheasants Forever Fond du Lac Chapter
Description
The 2024 Learn to Hunt event includes an education program, clay shoot and actual field hunt with stocked pheasants providing an exciting hunting experience. Participants will be matched with experienced hunters and trained hunting dogs by the Fond du Lac Pheasants Forever chapter. Ammunition and lunch will be provided along with other fun activities that day. This event starts at 8 a.m.
Rules:
- Youth Participants must be between the ages of 12 & 18 years.
- Adult Participants must be first-time pheasant hunters.
- Participants ages 12 to 16 must have a parent or responsible adult at the event. Participants 16 and older are not required to have a parent attend but we encourage parents to come along.
- All hunters must be graduates of a hunter safety course.
- For safety, all participants must wear 50% blaze orange clothing on the day of the hunt.
- Hunters and mentors are only allowed in the fields. Parents may watch from designated areas.

- $20 entry fee
- The deadline to register is Saturday, Nov. 25, 2024
- Register for the event. Be sure to fill out all the required forms
Register early! While we will try to accommodate your requests, registration for this event is limited to the first 24 hunters who send in registration forms and fees.
