Evening Marsh/Crane Watch

-

Description

Join educators at the Palmatory Picnic Shelter an hour before sunset (around 4:30 p.m.) for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead.

Sandhill cranes, Canada geese, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants that will be flying into the marsh to roost at sunset.

Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions!

Soup, chili, baked items and other goodies will be available for a suggested donation to the Horicon Marsh Bird Club or Friends of Horicon Marsh.

All programs are free and open to the public. Meet at the Palmatory Picnic Shelter at 1210 North Palmatory Street, Horicon, WI.
