Lichen Hike

Description

More than what meets the eye and often overlooked, lichen is everywhere at Interstate Park. Join the naturalist on a hike to learn exactly what lichen is, its role in the environment and how to identify it!

We will meet at the Beach Area Playground and then hike the half-mile Echo Canyon loop.

Expect uneven terrain, elevated hiking. Dress appropriately for weather and bugs. All ages welcome.
