Bat Talk and Walk

Description

Learn about bats and hike to locate them at Ottawa. See the sunset while using bat sensor devices to locate bat sonar and search for bat habitat. We will begin with a small introduction to the local bat species and then hike out to try and find them.

Keep in mind that bats are shy and quiet creatures. It's recommended that children be of the age that they recognize this and are respectful of the bat residents we are trying to locate.

A state park annual sticker or daily admission is required to enter the park.
