3rd Annual Women's Habitat Volunteer Day
Description
The Wisconsin DNR is excited to once again partner with Pheasants Forever and Artemis Sportswomen for the 3rd annual Women’s Habitat Work Day! Join us for a great opportunity to learn about small engines, herbicide use and other habitat management techniques in grasslands and oak woodlands in a supportive environment or to simply have a great time improving public land habitat with a group of hard-working women.
We will have snacks and drinks at an on-site, indoor location for post-event networking and conservation conversations.
We welcome women, female-identifying and non-binary people to join us.
Location: Hook Lake State Wildlife Area Oregon, WI
Parking: Follow signs to the end of McManus Rd., past the 90-degree bend, where you will find a multitude of sheds. Park anywhere on the gravel.
