Cabin Fever Open House

Are the winter blues setting in? Wishing you were somewhere warmer? Kids bouncing off the walls? Join us for a Cabin Fever Open House at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center. You can experience some outdoor winter adventure or stay warm and cozy inside with a cup of hot chocolate.

DNR staff and Friends of Horicon Marsh volunteers have various family-friendly activities lined up to help drive away those winter blues. Snowshoe (conditions permitting) out to the Storybook Trail, play board games while sipping hot chocolate and eating popcorn or warm up around the campfire. Test your creative side by entering the “Wanna Build a Snow Animal” contest. Feel the chill of the glaciers in the Explorium at a discounted rate as well! So get out of the house and join us at Horicon Marsh for a fun-filled winter day!
