MLK Day Candlelight Hike

Description

Celebrate MLK Day early and hike along a brief portion of our trails lit by candlelight (0.75 miles)!

Join us from 4:30 – 5:30p.m. as we learn about MLK and BIPOC scientists at each warming stop along the path. Warm up with s’mores and hot cocoa. If you can, bring your own thermos.

Dress for the weather, wear boots in case of mud and borrow some snowshoes at the nature center if there’s enough snow!

Donations to Friends of Havenwoods to support this event are welcomed, but not required.
