Make and Toss Seed Bombs
-
Description
Native wildflowers and grasses benefit our community in many ways! Come learn how native plants help people and the environment. Then collect seeds from prairie plants to make into a seed bomb. Then do an act of service by tossing your seed bomb into Lakeshore State Park’s Big Prairie, the part of the park most in need of repopulation with native Wisconsin plants. Instructions will be provided for Scouts, friends, and families to make their seed bombs at home. Meet at Kids’ Prairie, across from Pebble Beach in the middle of the park (also counts towards Juniors’ Flowers badge).
