Sandhill Wildlife Area Snowshoeing Workshop

Explore the winter wonderland inside Sandhill Wildlife Area! This unique recreation opportunity stems back thousands of years. Now it's your turn to get out on a guided hike through one of Sandhill’s best snowshoeing trails. Bundle up and join us on a 3-mile snowshoe hike while exploring Sandhill’s diverse habitats, management areas and wildlife.

Preregistration is required, along with a $10 registration fee per person. Registration includes a snowshoe rental if needed. To register, please visit the Sandhill Outdoor Skills Calendar. Print and complete both required forms and mail them to Sandhill Wildlife Area, along with payment in the form of a check made out to “DNR-Skills Center.”
