Friends Halloween Hike

Join us for lots of Halloween fun!

There’s a lot to do at this annual event sponsored by the Friends of Devil’s Lake State Park. Back again this year a Pumpkin Carving Contest along the North Shore Beach – follow the Friends of Devil’s Lake State Park on Facebook to learn more!

You can go on a 1-mile torch lit hike; show off your costume by the campfire while listening to Campfire Kevin and roasting a marshmallow or two for s'mores provided by the Friends; enjoy some tasty treats at the Chateau; and find out about spiders! You can even make a spider or two to take home with you. Pick up your spider trivia game cards at the Rock Elm Shelter before you head out on your torch-lit hike and make some spider crafts there when you get back.

Stop by the Chateau to purchase some snacks or a souvenir to take home with you and take a photo or two at the Friends selfie station.

This event is great for all ages! Happening at the park’s North Shore.
