Description

Learn to write poems (including haiku) about nature!

Equipment suggested: Dress for the weather as we’re likely to be outside. You might like to bring a hat and insect repellent (picaridin works with biting flies, DEET works with mosquitoes, essential oil “natural” repellents are effective for both but need to be re-applied often). We’ll provide paper, loaner clipboards, and pencils to use.

1.5 hour, meet at the Nature Center

Class limit: 10 persons

Suitable for: ages 3-8 (only with parent or guardian) and ages 9-12.

Cost: free-will donations welcome to cover cost of take-along supplies
