Nothing wrong with hotdogs and beans, but there are healthier, tastier, and easy-prep alternatives using items found in every grocery store. We’ll show you how to pre-pack everything but the fresh ingredients at home, making prep at camp even simpler.

The class includes recipes and demonstrations. Does Beef Stroganoff, Chicken and Noodles, Beef or Chicken Shepherd’s Pie, Gnocchi Marinara, Ethiopian Lentil Stew, or Appalachian Trail Mix (either herbed tomato blend or mushroom-curry) sound good? This class meets the ServSafeTM recommendations for food preparation.

1.5 hours, meet at the Picnic Shelter between Sites 82 & 83
