Birding and Nature Hike

Description

Get to know some forest birds and understory plants on a hike to Red Granite Falls with the park naturalist.

Meet at the Loon Lake parking lot. Family-friendly; terrain is moderate. Participants encouraged to bring binoculars, bug spray, and dress for the weather.

Later that day: After the morning hike, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., stop by the Naturalist cabin (adjacent to the main parking lot) to explore the nature center, visit with the park naturalist and participate in the activity of the day. Fun for all ages!
