Take a Walk on the Wild Side: wildflowers, wildlife, & wild waters

Description

Experience the beauty of Northwoods wildflowers on a hike to Red Granite Falls with the park naturalist. The terrain is moderate; participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, bug spray, and dress for hiking and weather. Meet at Loon Lake beach.

Later that day: After the beach program, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., stop by the Naturalist cabin (adjacent to the main parking lot) to explore the nature center, visit with the park naturalist and participate in the activity of the day. Fun for all ages!

No pets, please. A State Park admission sticker or day pass is required; programs are free.
