Take a Walk on the Wild Side

Description

Experience the beauty of Northwoods wildflowers on a hike to Red Granite Falls with the Park Naturalist.

Terrain is moderate; participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, bug spray, and dress for hiking and weather. Meet at Loon Lake beach.

After the hike, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., visit the park’s Naturalist Cabin at the main picnic area to check out some critters or participate in family-friendly activities with staff.

Park entry fee is waived and fishing is free this weekend. No pets, please.
