Butterfly Count

Description

Participate in this fun citizen science program to help identify and count the butterflies at Devil’s Lake.

We’ll hike the open trails at Roznos Meadow and record all the butterflies we see. All of our data will go to the North American Butterfly Association to assist with their research on butterfly populations. Not a butterfly expert? No problem! The park’s naturalist will be there to help everyone identify the butterflies they are seeing. This program is best for adults and children 10 and older but open to all ages.
