Candlelight Night Hike, Ski and Snowshoe

Join the Friends of Interstate and Straight Lake State Parks for Candlelight Night on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at Interstate State Park. Cross-country skiing will start at the Skyline Shelter and a snowshoe/hike will start at the Camp Interstate Shelter. 

A warming fire will be available at both locations. Snowshoe rentals will be available for a nominal goodwill donation at the Camp Interstate Shelter. The Ice Age Center restrooms and classroom will be available for warming. Social distancing is strongly encouraged.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of Interstate and Straight Lake State Parks. The event may be canceled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. A Wisconsin daily or annual vehicle admission sticker is required to enter the park. Stickers may be purchased on the day of the event.
