Self-guided Owl Hike

Description

Take a self-guided hike to learn about owls and their habitat. Along the trail, you’ll learn about owl identification, behavior and habitat. Depending on the time of day, you may hear a hoot or two or even spot one of these elusive birds.

Start at the Mead Wildlife Area main entrance parking lot, pick up a map from the outdoor kiosk and follow the gravel road east to the Boardwalk Trail.
