Doors Open Milwaukee – Havenwoods State Forest

Visitors will have a chance to join a naturalist on a 45-minute nature hike with a naturalist with hikes at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. 

Adults and older kids can discover Havenwoods’ fascinating past in a 45-minute presentation at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Visitors may also drop in any time to meet some Wisconsin reptiles and amphibians close-up, play old-fashioned games and make old-fashioned crafts.

People of all ages can have fun participating in a geocaching adventure featuring the park’s history – stop in the center to get a guide booklet and a GPS unit to explore the forest on your own!
