Ruffed Grouse & Woodcock Learn to Hunt Series - Oneida County

Description
This Learn to Hunt series will meet multiple times in April and May to start preparing participants to hunt woodcock and grouse during the fall hunting season. Spring meetings will orient participants to hunting with a dog, scouting for suitable habitat and incorporate plenty of practice wing shooting at a local sports club.
No previous hunting or firearm experience is required to participate. Registration is required. To register, contact Conservation Warden Tim Otto at 715-889-0292.

Grouse season opens Sept. 14 and woodcock season opens Sept. 20.
