Description

Join the Friends of Potawatomi State Park in prepping the park for the 2025 spring and summer season!

Volunteers are needed to help with seasonal clean-up of the playgrounds, campgrounds, and picnic areas. Activities will include spreading and raking new wood chips at the playgrounds. Other activities may include litter pick up, removing downed sticks and branches, and blowing and raking leaves.

The Friends of Potawatomi State Park will provide water and snacks. Volunteers should wear long pants, sturdy footwear and gloves. Some hand tools will be provided, but volunteers may also bring their own shovels, rakes and other hand tools. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets, please.

Park admission is waived while volunteering. Meet at the shelter by the campground on Shoreline Road.
