Foraging for Food and Medicine

-

Description

Join Tina Nebergall, a community herbalist and forager, for a plant walk to introduce you to the local plants around us that can be used for food and medicine. This is an introductory-level beginner event. However, those with advanced knowledge are welcome to come and contribute in a casual learning atmosphere and enjoy a walk in nature and all she has to teach us.

A flush toilet and drinking fountain are available at the park office, and vault toilets are available throughout the park.

Meet at the South Shelter at 10 a.m.

Consider bringing a water bottle, insect repellant, hat and sunscreen.
