Spring Peeper to Petroglyphs Hike

Description

Join us on the Spring Peeper Trail to the petroglyphs. The trail has a steep start and winds along Carter Creek. We will stop for a talk at the petroglyphs and then return on the trail or hike the road back to the park office. The trail is .68 miles and those wanting an easier hike can walk along the road to the petroglyphs. This hike may take about 1 hour on average. A pit toilet is available at the park office. A drinking fountain is available at the park office.

Plan: Meet at the park office parking lot. A Vehicle Admission Pass is required for entry and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.

This event is recommended for all abilities and ages, please leave pets at home. This event will happen in any weather, rain or shine. Dress according to the weather.

Consider Bringing: water bottle, snacks, rain gear, boots, insect repellent. *No experience necessary.
