The Sept. 21 Sturgeon Advisory Committee Meeting will discuss topics including an update on the Winnebago System lake sturgeon population including this year’s population estimates, a recap of the 2021 sturgeon spearing season, setting the safe harvest caps for the 2022 sturgeon spearing season, an update on completed/on-going Winnebago System lake sturgeon research projects and additional sturgeon spearing topics/updates.
