The Baraboo Wastewater Treatment Facility is located at 1000 Manchester St., Baraboo, Wisconsin, with a discharge to the Baraboo River (north bank of the Baraboo River, approximately 3600 feet upstream of State Highway 113 bridge).
Summary of Proposed Changes include a variance to the water quality standard for Mercury and an addition of new Total Nitrogen Ammonia limits. Fecal coliform monitoring and limits have been replaced with Escherechia coli (E. coli) monitoring and limits. Phosphorus TMDL Limits have been added to the permit to comply with requirements of the Wisconsin River TMDL. Total Nitrogen Monitoring (TKN, N02+N03 and Total N): Quarterly monitoring was added to the proposed permit.
