Park Construction Notice: Several construction projects will be taking place in Yellowstone Lake State Park from September 2023 through spring 2025 to improve park infrastructure facilities in picnic areas and campgrounds. Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays during daytime hours. During the construction timeframe, some roads may be closed or reduced to single-lane traffic, and detours may be in place. Campgrounds and picnic areas in the park will remain open, however, some facilities may be closed. During daytime hours, visitors will notice increased noise from construction equipment. Visitors should use caution around construction areas and keep out of any areas posted as closed.
