Peninsula State Park

Eagle Tower

Eagle Tower is closed for winter. The tower is open seasonally from approx. May 1 to Oct. 31. Weather permitting, the open season may extend into late fall or begin earlier, however, visitors should expect the tower to be closed in the middle of winter. Winter Recreation

Winter recreation conditions as of Dec. 23, 2024:

Cross-country ski trails: For Peninsula's cross-country ski trails, see Travel Wisconsin's cross-country ski trail conditions [exit DNR].

Snowmobile trails: Peninsula's snowmobile trails are located in the northern zone of Door County. Please see the Door County (Northern Zone) conditions [exit DNR].

Concessions

During the off-season, firewood is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from a vending machine in the wood yard.
