Environmental Impact Analysis

Under the Wisconsin Environmental Policy Act, the DNR is required to analyze, consider and publicly-disclose the environmental impacts of certain department actions. In some cases, this includes the preparation of an environmental impact statement (EIS). The DNR also conducts strategic analyses of broader natural resource issues and policies.
