Tamarack Creek Wildlife Area
Tamarack Creek Wildlife Area is a 542-acre property in Trempealeau County. Find it 10 miles north of Trempealeau on the west side of Highway 93. Access is along County Highway F. The property consists of upland hardwoods, marsh, bog and grassland.
Management Objectives
Acquisition began in 1959 under the Scattered Wetlands Program. The property has since grown to 542 acres in size. Management on the property consists of boundary posting, parking area maintenance, prescribed burning, timber management and tree/shrub planting.
