Wolf River - Colic Slough Fishery Area is located in the Southeast Glacial Plain Ecological Landscape of southeastern Waupaca County. Major landcover types include bottomland hardwoods, emergent vegetation, lowland brush/willow, and open water.

The Wolf River flows through an area of bottomland hardwood forests and open marshes. This area is now a part of the larger Lower Wolf River Bottomlands Natural Resources Area.

Location/Directions

Wolf River - Colic Slough Fishery Area exists in scattered parcels along the Wolf River in Waupaca County. Access is generally limited to boat access off the river. T 21, R 13E, section 12, and T 21, R 14E, sections 6 and 7.
