Leer and Griffen Creek Fishery Area
DNR Fisheries Areas
Leer Creek has its headwaters in Iola Township. Additional water is added from the outlets of Graham and North Lakes. Griffin Creek is a small tributary which also adds to the flow of Leer Creek. Downstream of Paulson road Leer Creek becomes the South Branch of the Little Wolf River. Numerous springs and seeps add to the flow in the upper reaches of Leer Creek.

Leer and Griffen Creek Fishery Area includes scattered parcels in Waupaca County. T 24, R 11E, sections 5, 7, 8, 9, & 10.

Objective
The Leer and Griffin Creek fishery area is managed to provide trout fishing opportunities and protect spawning areas and water quality in this watershed.
