Lakes and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Mapping Tool
Web-mapping App Updates:
What’s new with DNR’s web-mapping applications?
We are excited to announce that the DNR’s web mapping applications have been upgraded with more secure and modern technology! While the design may look different, the functionality you rely on remains the same.
For best results, use up-to-date devices, operating systems and internet browsers. If you are having difficulty viewing or interacting with a DNR web-map, try these web browser tips.
The Lakes and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Mapping Tool is an interactive web map. This tool allows users to search and map AIS and lake monitoring locations, watercraft inspection sites and grants projects across the state. Users can also view the geographical distribution of invasive plants, fish and invertebrates.
Notes on usage:
- The Lakes and AIS Mapping Tool is currently not a mobile-friendly site. It is not recommended to use a handheld device or tablet to use the tool.
- For best performance, a high-speed internet connection is recommended.
- If you have multiple toolbars open at the top of your Internet browser or are using a widescreen monitor, you may need to adjust the browser's zoom setting (under the View menu) to access all tools and functions.
