History
A Victorian Beginning
The handsome sandstone building at the entrance was built in 1897. Still in use today, it provides supplemental fish rearing space. Hatchery operations were updated with the construction of modern buildings in 1974. The newer building holds 34 fish-rearing tanks and an educational exhibit area.
