NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations PACKET (NOTE: The public must preregister with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Registration information is located on the last page of the agenda. Exact tour schedule is subject to change). 1.a.) At approximately 11:15 a.m., the Board will arrive at the Dept. of Military Affairs, State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), 2400 Wright Street, Madison, 53703 for a tour and presentation on the responsibility of Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) during an emergency and the roll they have, the crucial function that the SEOC has in the response and recovery process, and the department’s role in disaster or emergency response both in the field and in the SEOC PowerPoints (Engle WEM and Woodbury DNR); or 1.b.) In case of state emergency, tour 1 will be moved to 11:00 a.m. to Emergency Operations, GEF 2, 101 S. Webster Street, Madison, with a tour and presentation on: emergency operations. 2.a.) At approximately noon, the Board will have lunch in Room 230 at the SEOC; or 2.b.) In case of state emergency, lunch will take place at approximately 11:30 a.m., in room G27, GEF 2, 101 S. Webster Street, Madison. 3) At approximately 1:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at the MacKenzie Center, W7303 County Highway CS, Poynette, 53955 for a presentation on the facility, events hosted, and its mission followed by a tour of the wildlife exhibit and the Conservation and Logging Museum. 4) At approximately 2:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Pheasant Hatchery, N3344 Stebbins Road, Poynette, for a tour and presentation to include number of birds hatched yearly, where and how they are dispersed, and the new 5,000 square foot facility. [Biosecurity measures: Anyone that has direct contact with poultry, waterfowl or gamebirds should opt out of the hatchery tour. Plastic boot covers will be supplied. Participants will need to dip shoes in disinfectant foot bath before slipping covers over shoes. Removal of any coats that may have been used around poultry, waterfowl or gamebirds. Coats must be left outside facility.] 5) At approximately 3:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Columbia County Public Shooting Range, W6273 King Road, Poynette, 53955 for a tour of the shooting range and presentation to include the design of the facility and range safety features.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, in public meeting room G09, State Natural Resources Building (GEF 2), 101 S. Webster Street, Madison, WI. The Board will act on items 1-2 and 5-6 as listed on the Agenda.
