NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, the Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations (Note: The public must preregister with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Email or call the Board Liaison to register. Exact tour schedule is subject to change). Arrive at approximately 10:15 a.m. to the 30th Street Corridor, Milwaukee, topics: background, funding, and brownfield assessment work in the corridor. At approximately 10:45 a.m. the Board will arrive at the Urban Ecology Center – Riverside Park, 1500 E. Park Place, Milwaukee, topic: biologically diverse urban habitat. At approximately 1:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at the UW-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences, 600 E. Greenfield, Milwaukee, topic: tour DNR research vessel the Coregonus. At approximately 1:30 p.m., the Board will walk to the Ballroom or new VisLab at UW-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences, topics: Lake Sturgeon and Menominee River Fish Passage. At approximately 2:30 p.m., the Board will receive a welcome presentation from Dean David Garman [invited]. At approximately 2:35 p.m. the Board will tour the school.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in the Marquette Room at the Ambassador Inn at Marquette, 2301 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Board will act on items 1-3 and 6-7 as listed on the Agenda.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.

- The Friends of Harrington Beach State Park will donate $206,678.18 ($149,698.18 project cost and $56,980.00 in-kind) to be used to construct a handicap accessible cabin within the Harrington Beach State Park Family Campground for the camping enjoyment of those with physical impairments (PDF)
- Ducks Unlimited and Dow AgroSciences will donate sunflower seed valued at up to $31,500 to provide for increased hunting opportunities for bird hunters in Wisconsin and will be used to manage sunflower fields for dove hunting (PDF)
- The Ruffed Grouse Society will donate $29,500 to be used to support nine ruffed grouse and woodcock habitat and education projects across Wisconsin (PDF)
